Troubleshooting
Quick fixes for the most common issues, below. We're a small team working on video walkthroughs for the future — for now, here's what usually solves it.
Garment isn't heating up
- Check the battery pack is fully charged (charging port LED should show solid, not blinking)
- Check the battery connector is pushed fully into the garment's charging port — it should click
- Hold the control button for a full 2-3 seconds, don't just tap it
- Try a different heat level — sometimes it starts on Low, which can feel like nothing on a very cold day
Battery won't charge
- Try a different USB-C cable and charger — some fast-chargers aren't compatible
- Check for lint or debris in the charging port
- Let the battery rest for 30 minutes if it's been fully drained, then try again
Runtime seems short
Heat level makes a big difference — High can drain the battery in 3-4 hours, while Low can run 8+ hours. Cold weather also reduces battery performance, same as with a phone.
